As an Impact Investing Associate at Ignite Capital, I assist the Director of Portfolio Operations in identifying, evaluating, and managing impact investments targeted at underserved communities in Baltimore. My responsibilities include sourcing potential investment opportunities, conducting rigorous due diligence through financial and impact assessments, and preparing comprehensive investment documentation. Post-investment, I actively manage our portfolio companies, monitoring key performance indicators to ensure alignment with the fund's social impact objectives and providing targeted support to facilitate sustainable growth.
Our team has successfully conducted in-depth analyses of the operations of both internal and external organizations, providing solutions for over a thousand non-profit entities. We have also effectively put into action a robust network and deal framework, facilitating a nationwide distribution strategy valued at $3 billion. Additionally, we've engaged in extensive Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) research involving Fortune 500 companies, aiming to uncover and pursue mutually beneficial collaboration opportunities.
In my role working alongside Maryland's party leaders, I've excelled in policy analysis and stakeholder management.
